Under the influence of various factors such as production costs, policy support, and capital manipulation, the prices of traditional Chinese medicinal materials have experienced an exceptionally sharp increase, causing the general public to hesitate.
Han Xianwu, the General Manager of Jinhua Yixu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., stated, "It is necessary to establish a national reserve system, where the government uniformly acquires traditional Chinese medicinal materials within a certain price range, reducing losses for medicinal farmers and contributing to market equilibrium." This may be one of the ways to address the potential decline in traditional Chinese medicinal material prices.
In addition to this, it is suggested that regions should establish corresponding price index collection, monitoring, and information feedback platforms. This involves implementing networked systems for synchronized information data, enhancing the publication of traditional Chinese medicinal material price indices and related information. This approach aims to ensure the supply and orderly development of medicinal materials directly from their sources.
To achieve this goal, the proposal includes the creation of a nationwide unified Traditional Chinese Medicine Industry Big Data Center and a Medicinal Material Reserve Project. By dynamically managing production and processing data, market demand, and utilizing features such as "acquisition and release" based on the characteristics of medicinal materials, this would serve as an effective means to balance market supply and demand, countering capital speculation. The objective is to guide the traditional Chinese medicinal material market towards a positive development, alleviating the burden of healthcare expenses on the general public.
